Fifty-five years of service has been clocked by Perinton Ambulance. In addition to serving our community's emergency-medical needs, the Perinton Ambulance staff is out and about in our community so our family members and neighbors become familiar with these care-takers, and learn from them too. For example, Beth Sardone, the Community Outreach Coordinator for Perinton Ambulance has facilitated 114 blood pressure clinics, given 102 lectures, hosts school tours, reads to classrooms of students, attends bike rodeos, and has attended 52 other communtiy events. Our community is fortunate to have the experience of the ambulance's President Jon LeRoy, serving our araa with 22 years of experience behind him. Read more, to plan to attend their May 23 event.

The Fairport-Perinton community is known for its cohesiveness, which you can find evidence of through the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce. Annually, the Village, Town, and Schools jointly present to a crowd of over 100 attendees. The Career Exploration Center, housed in the high school, is an active member of the Chamber. And, the Superintendent participates in Chamber events as well. This month, The Career Exploration Center has been named the Chamber Business of the Month.
RPCN Named September Business of the Month! The Chamber's September Business of the Month has a Kodak legacy. Rochester Professional Consultants Network (RPCN) was founded in 1990 by former Kodak employees, pursuing consulting careers. Today, RPCN has grown to offer networking, education, business and technology forums, and a consulting boot camp. You know this organization through our Chamber member Bob Manard.

Perinton Community Church Named July Business of the Month! Congratulate Pastor Tim Alexander, representing Chamber member Perinton Community Church (PPC), as they are being awarded the July Business of the Month! Tim shared that PPC has a motto: "One mile, three miles, five miles. Where you live. Where you work. Where you worship." Brookdale Fairport name November 2018 Business of the Month! November ushered in the awarding of our Chamber Business of the Month - - Brookdale Fairport. This assisted senior living option has served our greater Perinton community since 1997 and is one of Brookdale's 1,039 communities across the country. They are known for socialization, with residents, staff, visitors, and the Chamber! Recently, they hosted our monthly Coffee and have opened their doors to us in the past. From serving Penfield, New York educators to 15,000 members, Family First Federal Credit Union is now a full-service financial institution and was recognized as the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce October Business of the Month.
In 2019, Family First Credit Union will be celebrating 50 years of service! After their start of being a credit union for the Penfield school employees, they became a Community Credit Union in 2000. Now they have four branch offices in Monroe and Wayne Counties. A new branch will soon be open in Greece. In all of these offices, they specialize in business lending. Both business and mortgage lending is processed and serviced locally by Family First. The Credit Union provides jobs for 60 employees!

How sweet it is to be Business of the Month! Sweet Charity found that out, as the Chamber's July Business of the Month. Sweet Charity provides financial support for the Advent House, an outreach ministry of Perinton Ecumenical Ministries, providing care to the dying and their families. Residents pay no fees and Advent House receives no reimbursement for this service. In addition to this service to our community, Sweet Charity is active in the Fairport-Perinton Chamber and Fairport Perinton Merchants Association.
