Perinton Ambulance Leads the Way in Safety

Perinton Ambulance recently took delivery of the latest powered ambulance stretchers from Stryker. The PowerPro2 cot features several upgrades to the previous model, resulting in enhanced safety for both patients and crews, including automatic "best height" setting for wheeling patients, new adjustable features to re-size both ends of the carriage for smaller spaces, and a collapsible pull handle integrated into the foot of the carriage.

As part of a multi-year maintenance and equipment replacement agreement with Stryker, Perinton Ambulance was among the first services in New York State to take delivery of these stretchers. The agreement also ensures they will continue to lead the way in patient care equipment and safety.

THANK YOU for supporting your local community ambulance service! As we approach the start of the holiday season, I find myself reflecting on this period of giving and thankfulness. Every year I am humbled and inspired by the outpouring of generosity and support for Perinton Ambulance.

I am thankful for our staff who work long hours, overnights, weekends and holidays to serve those in need. While responding to more than 17 calls per day in 2022, we have been able to comfort and care for more than 4,000 patients. Your support allows us to positively affect someone’s life EVERY DAY.
