The Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce has named Nu-Life Medical Equipment as their March Business of the Month.

For the past four years, Nu-Life Medical Equipment has been serving the Greater Fairport area.  They can be found at 7300 Pittsford Palmyra Road, near another Chamber member, Just Solutions.

The vision to begin this business started with the owners.  They had been in the medical field for several years and saw a need for accessible medical equipment on the East side of Rochester.  They knew that this was an opportunity to help people, the end user of the equipment.  Their help would come in the form of making equipment available to match consumer needs, provide a large selection from which to choose, allow for special orders, and make all of these service aspects easy to tap into.

One specialty which has been birthed from the owners’ twenty-year background is in the area of compression.  You can say that compression garments is their niche market.

Kellie Wright of Northwestern Mutual, Chamber Board member, and active with the Chamber Membership Committee, asked the Nu-Life team what they liked best about their business. “They enthusiastically told me about consumers giving back to Nu-Life through their shared stories of improved health, feeling of well-being, and increased mobility and independence, ultimately resulting in an improved quality of life,” reflected Kellie.
