Friday, May 22 at Sycamore Golf Club, Christopher's Challenge will hold their 4th annual golf tournament! We are looking for sponsors, donations of auction items and players. All proceeds will go directly to provide education, awareness of bone marrow donation, as well as financially supporting patients and their families going through bone marrow transplants at Wilmot Cancer Center.

Officially, the ribbon has been cut on the new playground at Center Park West. The music-themed play space welcomes children of all ages and abilities and reflects the Town’s ongoing investment in revitalizing public parks.
 
As part of the design process, the Town conducted a community survey in 2023 to gather resident feedback. Residents voiced support for inclusive playground elements that meet a wide range of developmental and physical needs. That feedback helped guide the layout and features of the new playground, ensuring it would serve children of all abilities.

If you would like to attract attention to your business or organization, please reach out to Chamber Board Director Ramona Stein (Info@sflHearing.com) to be placed on the 2025 schedule. We strive to have a networking event each month. The host may choose the time of day ~ coffee, lunch, after hours. Approximately 15-25 attendees can be expected. You can host at your office or at a venue of your choice. You can even join in with other Chamber members to jointly host the event!

On Wednesday, July 24 from 11:00am-7:00pm, Christopher's Challenge will be holding a fundraiser at Scents by Design Candle Bar, 728 University Avenue. Rochester, NY. A portion of the proceeds from each candle made that day will be donated to Christopher's Challenge. You must mention you are there for the fundraiser. Janet Cruz will also be displaying her artwork - interpretation of the “Origins of the Scents” and will be available for purchase. 10% of the proceeds of the artwork sold will be donated to Christopher’s Challenge.
Come out and make a candle. Beer, wine & soft drinks will be available to enjoy while you create your own unique candle.

Each year The Goddard School for Early Childhood Development in Bushnell's Basin partners with a local charity to give back to our community. This year the School and their families are partnering with the Perinton Food Shelf to help supply their shelves for the winter months. The Goddard staff and families are contributing dry goods, canned food, and frequently used personal care items. At the rate contributions are proceeding, they will likely deliver 50 grocery bags of goods to the Food Shelf on December 22nd!
