Protecting Your Home from Nursing Home Costs with an Irrevocable Trust
For many New Yorkers, the family home is both their largest asset and a deeply personal symbol of security and legacy. Unfortunately, the cost of long-term care, often $15,000 to $20,000 per month, can put that home at risk if Medicaid coverage becomes necessary. 5 IT Priorities for Small Businesses in 2026
As we head into 2026, technology isn’t just a support function — it’s a core driver of growth and resilience. For small businesses, that means shifting from “fixing problems” to 'building a strategic technology plan.'
1. Move Beyond the Help Desk - Shift from reactive fixes to a proactive IT strategy that plans ahead, reduces downtime, and aligns technology with your business goals.
2. Treat IT as a Growth Engine - View technology as an investment. Modernizing and consolidating systems boosts efficiency, improves customer experience, and reduces long-term costs.
3. Build a Foundation for AI & Automation - AI is now practical for small businesses, but it requires secure networks, reliable connectivity, and strong data management to work safely and effectively.
4. Strengthen Cyber Resilience - With threats rising, focus on continuous monitoring, layered security, employee training, and solid backup and recovery plans to stay prepared.
5. Simplify Your Tech Stack - Too many disconnected tools slow businesses down. Consolidating into integrated platforms lowers costs and improves productivity.
Modern IT — when aligned with business goals — drives growth, reduces risk, and strengthens long-term success. Our Chamber member Just Solutions helps businesses move from “help desk” support to 'true technology partnership.'

Happy Birthday JMB Personal Training!
This year marks a huge milestone for JMB Personal Training – 10 years of helping people grow stronger, healthier and more confident. What began as a 12-year old boy’s dream has become a thriving community built on consistency, care, and results.
Over the past ten years JMB has grown from a small boutique style club to a vibrant community where people are supported, celebrated, and encouraged to be their best, together. JMB refers to their community as 'Gladiators.' They specialize in the over 40 crowd and help them live their best life with optimizing their mind, body, and quality of life.
For the last five years in a row, JMB has been recognized for 'Best Personal Trainer' and 'Best Gym' in the Rochester’s Choice awards – an achievement that reflects not only the performance of their coaching staff, but includes the dedication of each of their members. JMB prides itself on delivering more than workouts; lifestyle is important too – custom personal training, dynamic small groups, best-life seminars, tailored meal plans. Everything JMB does is designed to support real, lasting wellness.
They are thankful for their members, past and present, appreciating their trust, showing up, and being part of their journey.
To try JMB out or to learn more, call 585-440-7782 for a complimentary consultation and an invitation to celebrate at Iron Smoke on Sunday, March 29 at 1 pm, with a classic, celebratory JMB workout and some festivities afterwards.
