The Goddard School® - A Fun Learning Experience! Our educational and fun program is designed to provide the best childhood preparation for social and academic success by enhancing the emotional, social, cognitive and physical development of children from six weeks to five years of age. The Goddard School®, conveniently located in Bushnell’s Basin, is open Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM year-round. We offer a variety of scheduling options for infants and toddlers; full- and half-day preschool; full-day and wrap-around kindergarten enrichment as well as before and after school programs for parents who want the proven advantages of high quality early childhood care and education for their children. At The Goddard School® we us academically-endorsed methods to ensure that children have fun while learning skills for long-term success in school and in life. Our Fun Learning Experience (F.L.EX.®) program combines socialization, language, literacy with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math). The F.L.EX. ® was designed by educators and integrates with the Framework for 21st Century Learning as well as NYS Common Core. Our experienced faculty is a team of caring professionals that includes many NYS certified teachers. These skilled educators develop monthly and daily lesson plans designed to meet the needs of each child and collaborate with parents in nurturing children to become a well-socialized, respectful and confident learners. Our school, with its 11 classrooms, is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood easily accessed from Rt. 96 as well as Kreag and Garnsey Roads.
